JAMMU, Nov 14: In the much publicized Public Interest Litigation regarding preservation of Gharana wetland, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Alok Aradhe today directed State to file compliance report with regard to all previous directions before the next date of hearing.
When the PIL came-up for hearing, Senior AAG HA Siddqui informed Division Bench that the Revenue Department is in the progress of acquiring land for development of the Gharana Wetland Project. The time was sought to file status report on behalf of the Wild Life Department.
Accordingly, DB directed respondents to file compliance report in regard to all previous directions before the next date of hearing.
