JAMMU, Dec 10: In a contempt petition, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur today directed SSP Jammu to produce Director School Education before the court on next date of hearing.
After hearing Advocate Dheeraj Choudhary appearing for the petitioner whereas AAG Raghu Mehta appearing for the State, the DB observed, “on November 25 at the request of counsel appearing for the respondents two weeks time was granted to report compliance”, adding “it was specifically mentioned in the order that if compliance order is not produced, Director School Education, Jammu shall appear in person”.
“The counsel appearing for the respondents has now submitted that inspite of his communication, Director School Education, Jammu is not responding”, the DB further observed, adding “in such circumstances, Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu is directed to secure presence of Director School Education before this court on December 17, 2016”.
