JAMMU, May 20: In the much publicized case seeking constitution of Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a domestic help from a Judge’s house in Bhathindi area, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Hasnain Massodi and Justice Janak Raj Kotwal today directed the Investigating Officer to appear in person with case diary.
After hearing petitioner Advocate Deepika Singh Rajawat in person whereas Senior AAG SS Nanda for the State and Senior Advocate Sunil Sethi for the private respondent, DB observed,
“Senior AAG has not come up with the status report nor has Investigating Officer present”. Accordingly, DB directed Senior AAG to file detailed status report indicating the investigation conducted so far on the May 25 and also directed Investigating Officer to appear in person with case diary.
