JAMMU, June 4: In a Public Interest Litigation seeking establishment of an eye bank in the State, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Acting Chief Justice Virender Singh and Justice Hasnain Massodi issued notice to the State and directed Commissioner Secretary Health and Medical Education to file an affidavit containing the list of blind/ visually impaired persons suffering from corneal blindness.
