JAMMU, Oct 11: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Summit Nayyar seeking security of court complex, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar and Justice Sanjay Kumar Gupta today directed SSP Traffic to ensure regular removal of vehicles parked in no parking zone without any discrimination.
Division Bench also directed SSP Security to prepare a Sample Vehicle (SVP) as is done in the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court with all safety features. Accordingly, SSP assured that security arrangements will be fine tuned and he will present a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for security of the High Court.
“The Executive Engineer PWD has stated that a DPR has been submitted to the Registrar General, High Court for providing proper security features. If it is approved by the High Court, then they will proceed with the work”, the DB observed and directed the Registrar General to submit the DPR with approval at the earliest.
