Dayala Chak traders remove encroachments voluntarily

KATHUA, Mar 30: To extend full cooperation to district administration which has launched a demolition drive in Kathua town and other areas of the district under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria the shopkeepers and other members of business community in Dayala Chak today voluntarily demolished all the encroachments in front of their business establishments and shops.
Acting as responsible citizens, the shopkeepers and other members of business fraternity of the area said that they will render full cooperation to district administration in freeing the entire Ghagwal market of encroachments to make movement of transport and people smooth in the market.
The shopkeepers removed all the projections, footpaths and other structures constructed illegally in front of their business establishments and also took a pledge not to allow any one of making encroachments in the market.
The district administration Kathua has welcomed the initiative of the shopkeepers of Dayala Chak saying this way they have saved the time and energy of the officials. It expressed the hope that the traders and people in other towns of the district will take a cue from the business community in Ghagwal and voluntarily remove the encroachments from their respective towns also.
