JAMMU, Oct 4: The Government today ordered that Darbar Move offices in Srinagar would close on October 25 in Srinagar, the summer capital of the State, for six months and re-open in Jammu on November 5.
An official order said the offices moving in camp would carry only 33 per cent of the staff in their office or 10 officials, whichever is minimum.
“All Departments have been asked to send their advance parties on October 22 comprising one Gazetted Officer and four to five Non-Gazetted employees to receive the records at Jammu’’, the order said adding that salary for the month of October in respect of the employees working in the Move offices will be drawn on October 19.
It said the Administrative Departments would detach the staff, if any, attached by them from subordinate offices of Kashmir division.
The office timing on reopening of the offices at Jammu shall be 9.30 am to 5 pm in respect of Civil Secretariat and Heads of Departments located within the Civil Secretariat premises and 10 am to 4 pm for Move offices located outside the Civil Secretariat and observing six days a week.
