POONCH, Feb 7: Darana Upper and Lower in Mendhar has been facing water crisis as motor at the pumping station went out of order about two weeks back and could not be restored till today.
The residents of the area alleged that PHE field staff is well aware of the matter and even they took up the matter with the Sub Divisional authorities of the concerned department but the damaged motor was not repaired or replaced till date. The officials at Mendhar PHE office claimed that matter pertains to Mechanical wing of the department and they have been intimated. The people are suffering for the last about two weeks due to non-supply of water.
