KISHTWAR, Dec 7: Daily wagers of PHE Department Kishtwar in a meeting today under the leadership of Abdul Kabir Kandu discussed their various problems.
The meeting demanded immediate release of last 20 months wages. They alleged that daily wagers are at the verge of starvation for non payment of wages for last 20 months.
It demanded regularization of daily wagers who have completed seven years of service, holding of DPC on Divisional level for permanent employees, recognition of the post of assistant lineman, issuance of torch, rain coat and umbrella to field staff.
