SRINAGAR, July 31: Scores of left-out daily rated workers of Public Health Engineering (PHE) today staged a protest against present Coalition Government for its failure to regularize them.
The protesting workers said that they were engaged before March 1994 in the department, and till date have been working in the department on meager wages.
The protests were held under the banner of J&K PHE Employees and Workers Union and were demanding regularization of 1352 left-out daily rated workers despite fulfilling all the required documents under SRO 64 for regularization of their services.
“We condemn the delaying Policies of State Government who have miserably failed regularization the services of left out Daily Rated Workers of PHE Department, whereas, scores of workers were regularized under influence,” they said.
