DADAA vows to fight tooth and nail for Duggar Channel

JAMMU, Oct 12: Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association (DADAA) has vowed to fight tooth and nail for satellite Duggar Channel for the cause of protection, preservation and development of rich cultural heritage, art and language of Duggar land in general and welfare of artists fraternity in particular.
DADAA has also announced to get support from all social organizations and Biradries at District level for this genuine cause of Duggar Pradesh.
Decisions in this regard were taken during general body meeting of DADAA, held here today under the chairmanship of J S Babli, president.
Even as the Prasar Bharti has principally agreed for this genuine demand of DADAA and resolved the matter in its meeting of board of directors in the month of February 2014, no such order has been issued by the authorities till date, the meet said.
All the members of the association were present in the meeting, in which the annual working report of the association was presented by Sandeshvir, General Secretary of the Association and the income and expenditure for the year 2013-14 were presented by Janak Khajuria, cashier of the body. Kusan Tikoo performed her duty as stage secretary.
Those who spoke on the occasion, included J S Babli, Mandan Ragila, Dr Kamal Sharma, Uttam Singh, Subash Jamwal, Harbans Sharma, Rattan Doshi and Rajinder Narang.
