AACC beats KCC in ongoing T-20 Cricket Tourney

JAMMU, Oct 12: In the ongoing T-20 Cricket Tourney at KC Sports Club, two matches were played today.
The first match was played between AACC and KCC while the other was played between YCC and OCC.
In the first match AACC defeated its rival by 16 runs. After winning the toss, AACC decided to bat and raised a moderate total of 126 in 20 overs, which the KCC team failed to score and was bowled out at 111 in 20 overs.
Tittu from AACC who scored 38 in 37 balls with 3 fours, was declared as man of the match. For KCC, Sumit was the top scorer who scored 21 runs in 18 balls. For AACC, Ravi was the successful bowler who in his four over’s spell gave only 21 runs and took 2 important wickets while from KCC, Ritesh was the pick of the bowler who took 2 wickets in his four over’s spell by giving only 11 runs.
In the 2nd match, YCC defeated OCC by 13 runs. Batting first, YCC in 20 overs kept a target of 153 runs for OCC to win the match. In reply, OCC bundled out on 140 in 20 overs and thus lost the match by 13 runs.
Mohit of YCC was declared as man of the match for his splendid effort with the bat. He scored 44 runs in just 34 balls with the help of 3 fours and one six. Mukul also added 48 in 41 balls for YCC. For OCC Amit was the top scorer, who scored 38 runs in 34 balls. For YCC Sunny in his four overs took 3 wickets by just giving 29 runs while for OCC, Mohit scalped 2 wickets in his four overs by giving 31 runs.
Ashwani and Sanjay acted as umpires of the match while Vishal Koul was the scorer.
