Dachan delegation meets MoS R&B

KISHTWAR, Sept 7: A delegation of the prominent people of Dachan-Navpatti led by Dwarika Nath Parihar a prominent leader of the area called on Minster of State for R&B and Revenue Sunil Sharma and demanded that Damdooru  to Navpatti road be handed over to public sector company for its speedy construction as the local contractors that will be engaged by R&B Department are not in a position to construct this road in stipulated time frame.
The delegation told the Minister that in case the road is given to local contractors it will take decades for construction and hence public sector undertakings service be utilized for its speedy construction to ease the problems of over 50,000 population living in this belt.
The delegation warned that if any one creates hurdles in this way the people will launch a decisive agitation as they have suffered over the years due to lack of motorable road.
The delegation also demanded a probe into the ration scandal in three  CAPD depots in the area and action under law against the officials responsible for the same.
