Custodian General, VC JDA, SP Jail among 97 served notices

JAMMU, Feb 9: The Jammu Municipal Corporation has issued notices for illegal constructions to 97 people including some heads of organizations like Jammu Development Authority, Custodian General and the Jail Superintendent.
This information was provided by the Deputy Chief Minister (Minister In-charge Housing and Urban Development), Dr Nirmal Singh in a written reply to a question of Congress Legislator, Rani Gargi Blowria in the Upper House today.
Dr Singh disclosed that these violators have been served notices by the JMC during last two years for illegal constructions in Jammu city. He said the notices have been issued to the Vice-Chairman of the Jammu Development Authority over the construction of shopping complex at Muthi on the outskirts of Jammu city, the Superintendent (SP Jail), Amphalla Jail for construction within the complex and the Custodian General of Evacuee Property for the construction of flats at Wazarat Road, Jammu.
Prominent among others, who have been served notices by the JMC for carrying out illegal constructions, included- Raman Jain Municipal Allottee from Kanji House, SD Sethi from Reshma Ghar Colony, Jammu; Capt Murthi Gupta Managing Director Nideesh Builders Pvt Ltd; Mahesh Chander Sharma, son of KL Sharma, Akhnoor Road, Jammu;  Haroon Iqbal Khan from Sidhra, Mohd Hafiz Rana of Ustad Mohalla, Daljeet Singh of 125-New Rehari Colony, Surjeet Singh Khorana  B C Road, Jammu;  Kasturi Lal Mahajan, son of Sardari Lal  74 A/D Gandhi Nagar,  Prem Sagar  89- Sector B Sainik Colony, Swantar Kour/ Gurdeep Singh Bali Sainik Colony; Om Parkash 74-Raghunath Bazar Jammu; Sat Pal, son of Babu Ram, 101-Gumat, Jammu; Ramesh Kumar/ Ashok Kumar/ Ashwani Kumar Bye Pass Sunjuwan;  Mohini Gupta, wife of K K Gupta 423 –A Gandhi Nagar, Jammu; Paramvir Singh from Channi Himmat, Abdul Aijaz Magray Chhani Rama, Jammu; Vijay Gupta/ Pinki Gupta – Garden Estate Channi Himmat, Sunil Kumar/ Rajesh Kumar, son of T R Gupta Marble Market, Jammu;  SP Abrol/ Rohit Abrol/Dr Subhash Chander Gupta 25 A/C Gandhi Nagar; Devinder Kumar, Mattoo Colony Trikuta Nagar; Dalbir Singh, son of Rattan Singh Toph Chowk; Arshed Ali, son of Bashir Ahmed, Paloura Jammu; Mohd Shakeel, son of Sadiq Ali from Paloura Jammu, Haji Feroz Din near Masjid Janipur, Sudesh Kumar and Krishan Lal from Bakshi Nagar.
