DODA, Aug 7: A Cultural Festival was organized today by Education Officer, Zone Ghat at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Ghat.
The Festival was broadly divided into three categories viz cultural items, declamation and skits. A number of schools from Primary to Higher Secondary level participated and presented a lot of items viz group songs, declamation on burning issues like Beti Bachao -Beti Padao and beautiful skits on different themes.
In the Festival, Mela Public High School Arnora, Iqbal Academy Bhabore and HSS Ghat were adjudged as 1st, 2nd and 3rd in different items presented by the students.
MLA Doda, Shakti Raj Parihar was the chief guest, CEO Doda was the guest of honour while 2nd I/c Commanding officer 10 RR Arnora was also present. They together presented awards to the winners. Later, the MLA inaugurated the Nursery room in Government Girls Middle School, Ghat.
Vrinder Singh, Senior Lecturer (HSS Ghat) and Raju Shivaji Mane, PGT English (JNV Arnora) acted as judges. The festival was anchored by Imran Tantray, Teacher, HSS Ghat and Rabia Madam.
