JAMMU, Dec 31: State Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here this morning, gave yet another extension to the Cabinet Sub-Committee (CSC) headed by Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, for working out modalities vis-à-vis implementation of recommendations of Mushtaq Ganaie Committee on creation of new administrative units and fresh demands received from different quarters.
Sources told EXCELSIOR that Cabinet conceded the request of the Cabinet Sub-Committee and granted further time of 15 days for completion of task assigned to it.
The Cabinet also discussed the report of Justice (retd) R C Gandhi one man judicial enquiry commission into the communal clashes of Kishtwar district and issued directions for early completion of the probe.
