SRINAGAR, Aug 26: Chief Secretary, Mohammad Iqbal Khandey today held the weekly review meeting with Administrative Secretaries to review the final preparations being put in place for rolling out the new administrative units in the State.
Chief Secretary received the status report on necessary infrastructure in place besides deployment of functionaries to these units.
Mr Khandey stressed on necessary coordination and monitoring to ensure that the entire process is completed smoothly and all requisite infrastructure and manpower for operationalisation of these administrative units across the state is ready by 1st week of September.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Planning and Development, B. R. Sharma, Principal Secretary Finance, B. B. Vyas, Administrative Secretaries from Revenue, R&B, Rural Development, General Administration Department, Information Technology besides Divisional Commissioners Kashmir and Jammu and other senior officers.
