CS reviews implementation of Central Sector Projects

SRINAGAR, May 7: The Central Sector Projects Coordination Committee (CSPCC) headed by Chief Secretary, Iqbal Khandey today held its 3rd meeting here to ensure timely completion of various Central Sector Projects in J&K especially related to construction of BRO roads and works under the Border Area Development Programme.
The Coordination Committee reviewed the progress on various Central sector projects and took several decisions to expedite clearances related to land acquisition, availability of Right of Way, forest, environment, wild life clearance, stone quarries shifting of utilities, etc.
Chief Secretary urged the concerned State departments and the Central Project Authorities, to conduct joint surveys, wherever required to expedite the completion of these projects.
Financial Commissioner, Revenue Dr Arun Kumar, Principal Secretary, P&D, B R Sharma, Principal Secretary, Forest R K Gupta, Commissioner Secretary, R&B, Rohit Kansal, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Gazzanfar Hussain, Secretary Revenue, M A Bhat, Secretary, PHE/I&C, Parvez Malik, representatives of Union Ministry of Programme Implementation & Statistics, Defense, BRO and other officers attended the meeting.
