Crude palm oil futures remain weak on sluggish demand

NEW DELHI, Mar 12:  Crude palm oil remained weak for the second day and prices fell by another Rs 2.10 to Rs 459.60 per 10 kg in futures trading today, largely in line with sluggish demand in the spot markets against adequate stocks.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in April shed Rs 2.10, or 0.45 per cent, to Rs 459.60 per 10 kg in business turnover of 172 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in March traded lower by Rs 2, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 455 per 10 kg in 164 lots.
Market analysts said reducing of positions by speculators on sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate supplies mainly kept pressure on crude palm oil prices at futures market. (PTI)
