NEW DELHI, Nov 20: Crude palm oil prices advanced by 0.20 per cent to Rs 454.70 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions, tracking a firm trend at spot market on rising demand.
Expectations of lower output further fuelled the uptrend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in December month gained 90 paise, or 0.20 per cent to Rs 454.70 per 10 kg in business turnover of 82 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in November contract traded shade higher by 20 paise, or 0.04 per cent to Rs 446.10 per kg in 24 lots.
Analysts said speculators enlarged positions, supported by rising demand in the spot market mainly kept crude palm oil prices higher at futures trade. (PTI)
