NEW DELHI, Feb 20: Amid rising domestic demand, crude palm oil prices gained 0.72 per cent to Rs 576.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in March gained Rs 4.10, or 0.72 per cent, to Rs 576.50 per 10 kg in business turnover of 383 lots.
In a similar fashion, the oil for delivery in February moved up by Rs 3.90, or 0.68 per cent, to Rs 576.70 per 10 kg in 45 lots.
Analysts said said besides rising demand in the spot market, restricted arrivals from producing regions pushed up crude palm oil prices at futures trade. (AGENCIES)
