Crude palm oil futures fall on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Nov 26:  Crude palm oil prices fell by Rs 2 to Rs 454 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators offloaded their positions, triggered by subdued demand in the spot markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in December fell by Rs 2, or 0.43 per cent, to Rs 454 per 10 kg in business turnover of 109 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in November traded lower by Re one, or 0.22 per cent, to Rs 441.60 per 10 kg in 35 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators due to subdued demand in the spot markets against adequate supplies mainly led to a fall in crude palm oil futures prices. (PTI)
