Crude palm oil futures fall 0.42% on profit-booking

NEW DELHI, Mar 15: Crude palm oil prices fell 0.42 per cent to Rs 635.10 per 10 kgs in futures trade today as traders booked profits amid muted demand in the spot market.
Meanwhile, sufficient stocks levels followed by higher supplies from producing regions too fuelled the downtrend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery this month eased by Rs 2.70, or 0.42 per cent, to Rs 635.10 per 10 kgs, in a business turnover of 285 lots.
The oil for delivery in April traded lower by Rs 1.30, or 0.20 per cent, to Rs 643.80 per 10 kgs in 100 lots.
Analysts said speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels following falling demand at spot market. (PTI)
