NEW DELHI, Apr 2: Crude palm oil extended gains for the third-straight day by adding 0.52 per cent to Rs 576.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged their positions on the back of rising demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in April gained Rs 3, or 0.52 per cent, to Rs 576.50 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 545 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in May traded higher by Rs 1.60, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 569.30 per 10 kg in 176 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in crude palm oil futures to rising demand in the spot market. (PTI)
