NEW DELHI, Jan 31: Crude oil futures fell by 0.32 per cent today to Rs 6,138 per barrel as speculators trimmed positions amid a weakening trend in Asian markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in March fell by Rs 20, or 0.32 per cent, to Rs 5,344 per barrel in 103 lots.
Similarly, oil for February delivery moved down by Rs 18, or 0.29 per cent, to Rs 6,138 per barrel in 2,062 lots.
The trading sentiment turned weak after crude oil prices declined in thin Asian trade as investors booked profits, marketmen said.
