CRPF organizes free medical camp

JAMMU, May 4: 76 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized a free medical camp for slum dwellers at Channi Himmat here.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Vikram Singh Thakur, Commandant 76 Battalion, CRPF, whileas Saroj Sihaj, Deputy Commandant and PK Joshi, Assistant Commandant were also present.
Dr Supinder Singh, Medical Officer of 76 Battalion along with his team Harinder Bhardwaj and Budh Singh, examined different types of patients and provided free medical treatment, medicines and advice to them.
A total of 235 patients including men, women and children took benefit of this camp.
The aim of the medical camp was to reach out to the total population and spread awareness about basic cleanliness and health care issues to enable slum dwellers of Channi Himmat to lead a more healthy life.
