CRPF organises Blood Donation Camp

SRINAGAR, May 2:  In execution of its noble credentials and values, 75 BN CRPF on its 34th Raising Day today organized a Blood Donation Camp at its Headquaters in Indira Nagar, here in co-ordination with Government Medical College Blood Bank, Srinagar.
Total 58 units of blood were donated by Officers and personnel of the Battalion. Entire campaign was organized under overall supervision of  Rajesh Yadav, Commandant, 75 BN CRPF.
Dr Munawar Sultan, GDMO, 75 BN CRPF and Dr Zuber Ahmed of GMC Srinagar played key role in collecting and submitting blood units to GMC Blood Bank. The camp was one of its kind and generated motivation among locals of the area to come forward for this noble cause.
Every year, lots of people die of insufficiency of certain blood groups. This campaign was a step towards making substantial contribution to blood banks for its further use to needy patients.
While addressing media and arrived donors on the occasion, Rajesh Yadav- said, “We’ll continue to execute our acts of nobility in coming times. Not only as peacekeepers, but as a human being, we’ll continue to organize more such camps for our needy Kashmiri Brethren.”
This noble act of 75 BN CRPF was gratefully acknowledged by staff members of GMC and locals of the area.
