JAMMU, July 6: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today started ‘Sachal Sahayta Kendra’ here for smooth conduct of ongoing Amarnath pilgrimage.
“CRPF is always active in the assistance of Shri Amarnath yatris. Another step has been taken by CRPF in which a mobile help van viz. ‘Sachal Sahayta Kendra’ has been started”, said an official spokesman.

He said that this van will keep on operating near the yatri lodgments centers in Jammu and will provide all possible assistance such as yatra and safety related information, immediate medical aid in case required, shifting of patients to hospitals and other such help.
In this team, trained doctors of CRPF along with other personnel are serving the yatris, the official spokesman said, adding that first aid is also being provided to the yatris by trained staff available in the van.
In case of any medical contingency, this vehicle also arrange to take Yatris to nearest hospital, the spokesman said, adding that CRPF is geared up to face any challenge and counter nefarious designs of anti-social elements.
