JAMMU, Oct 22: Satwari Police arrested a criminal along with sharp edged weapon.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Satwari led by SHO Inspector Deepak Jasrotia laid a naka and asked a pedestrian to stop as he was moving under suspicious circumstances. On seeing cops, the pedestrian tried to escape but was intercepted after a brief chase.
During checking, police team recovered a sharp edged weapon from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Tinku Kumar, son of Banarsi Dass, a resident of Alora Tehsil Phallian Mandal District Jammu. A case under FIR Number 244/2021 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
