Criminal arrested with country made pistol, live rounds

JAMMU, July 29: Gangyal police arrested a criminal along with country made pistol and two live rounds.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia under the supervision of SDPO South Dr Sunniya Ashkoor Wani and SP South Vinay Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered a country made pistol along with two live rounds from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Ajay Singh, son of Triloki Nath Koul of Jagti Colony Nagrota Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 79/19 under section 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Gangyal Police Station and investigation started.
