SAMBA, May 5: In order to mitigate the suffering of people especially those traveling on National Highway where deep pits were developed resulting into fatal road accidents, Samba Police led by Inspector Sanjeev Chib, SHO P/S Samba in collaboration with media group and local youths of Samba town, repaired about 30 metres stretch of National Highway near Sabzi Mandi, Samba.
This entire team is on a Whatsapp group known as “Crime Patrol”. It took onus to itself to relieve the people especially those traveling on NH of their problems by renovating this patch of highway.
During repair of NHW, the tube under repair work was kept closed and the other tube was used for traffic on both the ways. About 50 volunteers of Samba town joined hands with Samba Police for repair works. Joginder Singh, SSP Samba also visited the spot to check repair work and thanked all the volunteers for their cooperation/initiative for a noble cause.
The public of the area have appreciated the initiative taken Samba Police, media persons and youths of Samba town.
