JAMMU, Oct 16: Crime Branch Jammu has registered FIR against some persons for allegedly forging ‘Will deed’ and getting a piece of land of the complainant mutated in their favour.
As per the FIR, accused persons namely Mohd Aslam Shah, his wife Shabina Shah, their son Sakib Ali Shah and one Shahzad Kamran Shah, son of late Nazir Ahmad Shah prepared a forged “Will deed” and got a piece of land, measuring 1 Kanal and 10 marlas, which belonged to the complainant, mutated in their favour after hatching a criminal conspiracy in connivance with the witnesses of the Will namely Imtiaz Illahi and Nasir and the Revenue authorities concerned.
The action was taken on the written complaint lodged by Mohd Amin Shah son of Lt Wazir Mohd of Ustad Mohalla Jammu, in Crime Branch, Jammu. The complainant said that his father Late Wazir Mohd had purchased a plot of land measuring 1 kanal 10 marlas falling under Khasra No. 123 min situated at Village Chak Changerwan and the sale deed was registered in the name of his father. However, Mohd Aslam Shah, his wife Shabina Shah, their son Sakib Ali Shah and one Shahzad Kamran Shah son of Lt Nazir Ahmed Shah hatched a criminal conspiracy and framed a forged Will of late Wazir Mohd in favour of Mohd Aslam Shah and Shahzad Kamran Shah on July 5, 2003, and got the land mutated in their favour on the basis of forged Will in connivance with Revenue authorities concerned, thereby causing loss to the complainant.
On the basis of the complaint, Crime Branch Jammu took cognizance and initiated an enquiry and established that the complainant was actually defrauded by the accused of his land after hatching a criminal conspiracy to forge the will deed of the complainant’s father to get the piece of land mutated in their name.
Case has been registered and the investigation has been set in motion.
