JAMMU, Apr  3: The Crest Hyundai, today launched highly anticipated compact family sedan “Hyundai Xcent”, in an impressive function held at its showroom, here at Kunjwani Bypass road.
The vehicle was formally unveiled by Sheikh Mahmood, SSP (retd), in the presence of Managing Director, Crest Hyundai, Anil Puri, Area Sales Manager, HMIL, Amandeep Singh, General Manager, Crest Hyundai, Anuj Sharma and other senior functionaries of Crest Hyundai.
While speaking on the occasion, Puri, said, “Hyundai’s innovation and commitment to quality in India is best exemplified in the modern premium “Xcent”, which marks our entry into the compact sedan segment in India”.
“The Xcent is a world-class product developed for the Indian families. Developed with the best of Hyundai Motor’s world-class technologies, Xcent will create a new benchmark in terms of quality, design, space, features and driving pleasure in the compact Sedan segment. We have invested extensive effort in competitively pricing Xcent to offer excellent value and to become the most loved and trusted brand in India”, he maintained.
He revealed that ‘Xcent’ will be available with two engine options— 1.1 litre advanced 2nd generation U2 CRDi diesel and 1.2 litre Kappa Dual VTVT petrol, offering a combination of optimum performance and high fuel economy.
Describing its features, he said, the vehicle has swept back headlamps and wrap around tail lamps with chrome insert. It has chrome finish hexagonal air dam, steeply raked windshield, wide daylight opening area and diamond cut alloy wheels.
