Create separate dist for S’bani, Nowshera, Kalakote: DPAP

RAJOURI, May 9: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Campaign Committee for Nowshera and Rajouri led by former legislator, Member State Working Committee and Provincial vice-president, Ashok Sharma demanded carving out a new district for Nowshera, Kalakote and Sunderbani tehsils to ensure speedy development of these hilly and remote areas.
While talking to the workers of the party at Nowshera today, Sharma expressed serious concern over the non-linking of Nowshera and Sunderbani townships with the Jammu-Poonch National Highway while widening the same. He added that traders, and people in general of this border belt have resentment against disconnecting of these townships resulting in loss of trade, employment and communication network to over 1.25 lakh people.
Sharma assured the people to address their grievances and urged them to support DPAP in Lok Sabha elections and thereafter in coming Assembly elections under the dynamic leadership of former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
DPAP leader further added that Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) will provide vibrant leadership aimed at good governance, restoration of statehood with land and job guarantee, filling up all the 1.5 lakh vacancies in public and government sectors by fast track recruitment with in six months after forming the new government.
Sharma asked the Party workers to popularise among the voters DPAP symbol – (Bucket) during their door to door campaign.
Prominent among others who participated included Rattan Lal, Ashok Sharma, Kamalpreet Singh Zonal vice-president, Pt Ganesh Dass Zonal organising secretary, Subash Kapoor, Ch Rajinder Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Romesh Chander, Madan Lal and Dr. Hem Raj Bhagat.
