REASI, Mar 26: In an action against illegal mining Reasi police seized three vehicles involved in theft of minor minerals in different areas of Reasi district.
Official sources said that in the incidents of illegal mining in Reasi, one Tractor with trolley bearing Registration No. JK20A- 8895, driven by Kulmeet Sharma, son of Kasturi Lal, resident of Kanha, Tehsil Pouni was found carrying illegal mining material (Nallah boulders) in Pouni area and was seized by police and DMO Reasi.
In another incident of illegal mining, two dumpers bearing registration No. JK02 DB- 7724 and JK14 H- 6655, loaded with RBM were found plying without DMO receipt, and seized in Reasi area by Police and DMO Reasi was informed accordingly. The whole operation has been led by SHO Reasi and Pouni under supervision of DySP HQ Reasi Neeraj Padyar.
