KISHTWAR, Apr 3: A meeting of office bearers of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union (CPPWU) was held under the chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari wherein they discussed issues of their employment.
Addressing the meeting, the union president Bashir Ahmad stressed upon the management of M/s G V K and L&T to adjust local unemployed youths of district Kishtwar and Doda on priority basis in the project. Joginder Bhandari, chairman of the union said that the management of L&T had committed to engage land owners in the project, but company has failed to fulfill its commitment resulting resentment among unemployment youths.
Others who attended the meeting included Mohd Khalid Tapal, Mohd Amir Khartri, Nisar Bhaderwahi, Gh Hussain Gannie, Javad Ahmed, Malipath, Anil Sharma, Sardar Sat Pal Singh, Arshad Gannie, Irshad Ahmed Gannie, Sameer Hussain, Tariq Patri and Jaffar Hussain.
