KISTHWAR, Jan 31: A meeting of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union (CPPWU) District Kishtwar was held today under the chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari.The meeting was attended by a large number of unemployed youths.
While addressing the meeting Union Chairman Joginder Bhandari urged upon the Union Power Minister to start the Karthi H.E Project Paddar so that unemployed youth of the area could get employment opportunity.
He said the DPR stands already submitted by the State Power Development Corporation to the Government and urged for issurnce of NOC from the State Government in respect of environment so that the other formalities could be cleared from the concerned quarters for early starting of the project.
Bhandari said there are hundred of unemployed skilled manpower available in the district who were having sufficient experience in handling various kind of machiniries bring used in the hydroelectric projects.
