JAMMU, Aug 8: Communist Party of India (CPI) Marxist has strongly criticized the BJP Government at Centre for abrogating of Article 370 and 35-A.
In a statement issued here, today CPI (M) said by abrogating Article 370 the Government has dismembered and disempowered the people of J&K and humiliated the entire population of the State on the unprecedented scales.
It said the cycle of betrayal is complete fragile and the boundaries of wall between the people of the State and Union have been put under unimaginable pressure. With this move all avenues of political process has been blocked in the State. The Modi Government may be celebrating in succeeding and imposing its agenda and thereby destroying J&K but experience of history demonstrated that it will be a big setback to the interests of India itself in J&K.
The newly floated Haq Insaaf Party J&K president, Bilal Khan and senior leader Sawtantar Bakshi have also condemned the scrapping of Article 370 and 35 A besides creating two UTs by bifurcating the State. They termed it an another aggression on the State. They said that the J&K has been facing similar aggressions but this time the aggression was from the country by BJP led Government at the Centre which scrapped Article 370 and 35-A. They termed the decision of Union Government illegal and Unconstitutional as the real stake holders were not consulted. They said a resentment is brewing among the people of the State against the decision.
