JAMMU, Dec 29: Judicial Member of Special Tribunal, Sanjay Parihar today allowed the revision petition of elected Board of Directors of Jammu Central Cooperative Bank and set-aside the order of Registrar Cooperative Societies whereby  it was ordered that the affairs of Jammu Central Cooperative Bank shall be looked-after by Joint Registrar (Adm) Cooperative Societies.
After hearing Advocate Vikram Sharma appearing for the elected Board of Directors whereas Senior Advocate UK Jalali for the President Multipurpose Cooperative Society and AAG MA Chashoo for the Registrar Cooperative Societies, Judicial Member of Special Tribunal observed, “the order impugned dated May 6, 2014 suffers from grave impropriety and has been passed in exercise of jurisdiction that could not have been involved at very initial stage of proceedings without giving opportunity of being heard to the parties”, adding “thus failure in this regard has caused mis-carriage of justice”.
Accordingly, court set-aside the order of Registrar Cooperative Societies.
