Court directs for FIR against Principal of Bangladesh college

Srinagar, June 18: A local court here directed the police to register FIR against the Principal Medical College Jashore, Bangladesh and the local consultancy firm for ruining the educational career of a student pursuing MBBS.
The aggrieved student Muskan Qureshi of Hawal area of Srinagar has filed a complaint against the Principal Sakina women’s College Jashore Bangladesh and the CEO of local consultancy firm, Global Education & HR Consulting Private Limited situated at Karan Nagar Srinagar, for damaging her educational career due to which she has became the victim of mental depression.
It has been further contended in the complaint that she had paid Rs 50000 to consultancy for arranging the admission in a medical college situated in Jashore Bangladesh and also transferred Rs 11 lakhs to the college for MBBS course.
For further expenses on MBBS course her parents approached the bank for educational load and the bank after finalizing the educational loan asked for confirmation letter of admission of medical college and for the same she requested from both the accused for furnishing the confirmation letter in order to submit the same before the bank for advancing the educational loan.
It is alleged that both the accused have failed to issue the confirmation letter regarding her admission in the college and due to which, the bank refused to grant educational loan to the complainant resulting into return of student back home leaving the MBBS course in midway.
The miserable candidate along with her father requested the college and consultancy for refunding the money which they have deposited with both but they failed to refund the same which compelled them to approach the court of law.
The Court of 3rd Additional Munisff presided by Shayesta Nazir after hearing the counsel Sajad Ahmad Sofi on behalf of the complainant-student directed the SHO police station Shaheed Gunj Srinagar to register FIR against Principal and consultancy firm and report compliance to the court on June 20.
Court while directing for registration of FIR against both the accused said prima facie the court is satisfied about cognizable offence being made out as requirement of compliance with procedural remedies as provided has been done by the complainants.
