JAMMU, July 5: Principal Sessions Judge Kathua, M K Hanjura today rejected the bail application of one Yog Raj, son of Pritam Chand of Athialtta Basohli, who was allegedly involved in kidnapping and rape of minor.
After hearing Advocate Chuni Lal appearing for the accused whereas Public Prosecutor Ravi Kumar Gupta for the State, Principal Sessions Judge observed, “a minor girl is alleged to have been raped by the petitioner. This has changed the entire complexion of the case. The law on the subject is clear. The grant of bail depends upon the nature of the offence, the manner in which it is committed and its impact on the society”.
With these observations, Court rejected the bail application.
