JAMMU, Sept 12: Munisff Jammu Urvashi Raina today rejected the bail application of one Harish Singh, who was involved in attempt to murder case.
While rejecting the bail application, Munsiff observed, “investigation of the case is at the infancy stage as the victim namely Nitesh Kumar is admitted in Amritsar Hospital and another victim namely Happy Singh has been discharged recently, however, he is not in a condition to record his statement as his face has been distorted due to the injuries received by him”.
“The statement of victim namely Harish Khullar has been recorded under Section 161 CrPC wherein he has mentioned the names of 6 accused persons including the applicant. The accused namely Harish Singh and another namely Amit Kumar have been arrested and the remaining four accused persons are still absconding and evading their arrest”, the court said.
With these observations, court rejected the bail application.
