UDHAMPUR, Oct 23: Two days course on “Ethics and Soft Skills” concluded at Police Academy here.
Seventeen officers of J&K Police of the rank SI to SP attended the training programme.
There were wide ranging discussions on ethics, reasoning, ethical leadership and legal framework of ethics.
To achieve the objectives of the training programme, experienced guest speakers including Dr Kavita Suri, Director Department of lifelong learning, University of Jammu, Dr. Mahesh Koul, Post Doctoral Fellow (ICPR) New Delhi, Anil Kumar Tiwari, Head, School of Philosophy SMVDU Katra and faculty from the Academy delivered lectures and shared their experience on the theme of the course.
The course was co-ordinated by Suraj Singh, DySP, Assistant Director (Trainings/R&D) Police Academy and Sukhvir Singh, Inspector (Course Secretary).
