Countdown for UPA has started: Raj Nath

CHANDIGARH, Sept 23: National president, BJP Raj Nath Singh today said that the days of UPA Government are numbered as countdown for this alliance has started.
Addressing a Core Group meeting of the BJP from J&K here, he said not only India but foreign countries have accepted this fact.
The meeting was attended by BJP national general secretary (Org) Ram Lal, national general secretary J P Nadda, Avinash Roy Khanna, MP and Prabhari J&K, Jugal Kishore Sharma president J&K BJP, Legislative Party leader Ashok Khajuria, former state presidents, Dr Nirmal Singh and Shamsher Singh Manhas, BJP National Executive Member and  State chief spokesperson, Dr Jitendra Singh, Thupstan Chewang, National Executive member, state general secretaries, Kavinder Gupta, Bali Bhagat and Rajiv Jasrotia.
Mr Singh said there is a lot of public enthusiasm, as people are inspired by Party’s Prime Ministerial candidate, who enjoys unprecedented popularity among the masses.
He said the indicators to foreign powers including US in response to our nuclear programme shows even the foreign powers are in hurry to negotiations and deals before UPA comes to end because they know that they will not be able to put pressure on Modi Government later.
He also urged Party workers to work with full force for the success of the Party in the coming elections.
The Core Group meeting was convened by Raj Nath Singh for assessment of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. He received detailed report about prevalent political scenario and standing of various political parties in different regions of the State including Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
The issues to be taken up during the elections by the Party were also discussed. As a part of election preparations public rallies in different Lok Sabha constituencies will be held in November which will be followed by a grand rally by Party’s Prime Ministerial candidate, Narindera Modi in December, a party spokesman said.
