JAMMU, Jan 20: Counseling & Placement Cell of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricul-tural Sciences & Technology (SKUAST) of Jammu, launched its new web module, here today.
The link of the web module of Counseling and Placement Cell will be available on the University website www.skuast.org.
The web module was launched by Prof Pradeep K Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu, who lauded the efforts of counseling & placement cell team of the University for putting in comprehensive information related to opportunities for University students in public/private sector, different fellowships/scholarships for studying abroad as well as in the country and skill development resources like resume making, communication, grooming for interview, group discussion etc.
Another important component of the web module is its fortnightly e-magazine “Career Calls” which provides information about job opportunities in different fields. The Vice Chancellor impressed upon the counseling & placement team of the university to encourage the students to make best use of the new web module for achieving their career goals.
On this occasion, Dr J P Sharma, Director Research, Dr T A S Ganai, Director Education, Dr B B Gupta, Registrar, Dr Deepak Kher, PPMO, Dr S K Sen, Comptroller, Dr V K Razdan, University Librarian and Dr Sanjay Guleria, Incharge Counseling & Placement Cell were also present.
