Cottonseed oil falls on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Nov 8:  Barring a fall in cottonseed oil prices due to subdued demand, other edible and non-edible oils held steady at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today.
Traders said adequate stocks position against low demand from retailers mainly led to the decline in cottonseed oil prices.
In the national capital, cottonseed mill delivery (Haryana) oil traded lower by Rs 100 to Rs 6,000 per quintal.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustard seed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 960-1,130.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,700, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,350-1,400, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,250, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,200- 1,250, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,250-1,350, sesame mill delivery 8,300, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 6,600, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 6,300, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 4,600, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,000, Palmolein (RBD) 5,800, Palmolein (Kandla) 5,600 and Coconut (per tin) 2,675-2,750.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 8,150, Castor 9,600-9,700, Neem 5,350-5,450. (PTI)
