NEW DELHI, Dec 4: Cottonseed oil cake prices firmed up by Rs 21.50 to Rs 1,658 per quintal in futures trading today following raising of bets by speculators in tune with a firm trend at the physical markets.
Marketmen said restricted arrivals and strong demand for animal feed makers in spot markets mainly supported the prices here in future trading.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for January hardened by Rs 21.50, or 1.31 per cent, to Rs 1,658 per quintal, with an open interest of 69,950 lots.
The delivery for December also gained Rs 20, or 1.24 per cent, to Rs 1,634 per quintal, having an open interest in 33,180 lots. (PTI)
