JAMMU, Dec 30: BJP is committed to the development of the State at the very grass root level and in this regard party has approached the State Government to implement all the developmental and welfare schemes of Narendra Modi Government in the State.
This was stated by Sanjay Baru, State secretary of the party and Corporator, Ward No. 41, while kick starting repair and construction work of deep drain along main road Patta Bohri, Talab Tillo.
He was also accompanied by Executive Engineer of UEED Department Taj Mohammad, JE Vijay Khajuria and other officials and local BJP leaders.
Sanjay Baru, said that the PM Modi has taken every necessary step for providing ease of access to the common masses in day to day needs. He also appreciated the concern of former Minister and former MLA from Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) towards the development of the whole Constituency. He said that the former Minister has gone extra mile to bring about special changes for giving comfort to the residents.
He said that the improvements in electricity supply, drinking water supply, road macdamization, drain system and other public amenities are visible on ground after PM Modi has taken reigns of the country.
While giving information on the deep drain work, Baru said that the local residents were facing lots of difficulties in the area due to the dirty water overflowing over the road from drain. He said that due to damage over the time, the drains were clogged and choked which posed lot of distress to the locals as well as the commuters and the present work will surely ease out their problem. He said that present construction and repair work will be completed by UEED and the project will involve the cost of around Rs 22 lakh for its completion.
