KISHTWAR, Feb 19: Police here today rescued a man who was stuck in a rock after he got slipped.
Cops received a telephone call that one Jaffer Hussain, son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of, Link Road Malipath here, who was coming to Kishtwar from upper reaches of Shalimar slipped and was stuck in a rocky mountain.
On this SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal directed SHO Kishtwar, Inspector Abid Bukhari and IC PP Shalimar PSI, Imran Khan to launching rescue operation for the safe evacuation.
After putting in hectic efforts Kishtwar police established contact with the trapped person and rescued him safely and reunited him with his family.
