Copper remains weak on muted demand

NEW DELHI, June 25:  Copper prices fell by another Rs 3 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries amid a weak trend overseas.
Traders said besides easing demand from consuming industries, a weak trend in global markets mainly kept copper prices lower.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap declined by Rs 3 to Rs 370 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 94-100, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 850-855, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 370, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 76, lead imported Rs 82, aluminium ingots Rs 150, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 146, aluminium wire scrap Rs 146 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 144. (PTI)
